This project documents a community-driven street basketball tournament organized in Akademija, Lithuania, inspired by the legacy of Ruokis and his advocacy for health and active living.
Pointy Hat studio led the visual identity and communication for the event, creating a bold and playful aesthetic influenced by street culture, basketball and hip-hop. The goal was to build a recognizable and engaging presence that would attract participants and create a strong atmosphere around the tournament.
Within less than a month, the event gathered over 20 teams and a large local audience, supported by activities such as a 3-point contest, live MC performances and DJ sets. The project also included custom-designed jerseys, trophies and an aftermovie capturing the energy of the day
